Did Tony Stewart purposely hit and kill Kevin Ward?

They both were at fault and both showed rage. Yes, the kid should of known better, but all the cars slowed down to about 35 mph, Stewart's car gassed up when he saw the kid probably to dig dirt up, as you see the car spin sideways toward the kid like he was trying to scare him and it got out of control because the car is about 800hp. They both showed wreck less endangerment, and both were hot heads. Tony is also known for being hot headed as well. I don't think it was intentional but his actions were purposeful and could of been avoided, so he is criminally at fault.

A little odd that he swerved right, but my answer is no.

What was this man doing walking around in the middle of a race-track, it was an act of extreme stupidity tantamount to suicide.

As for why the car swerved right, who knows, perhaps the driver wanted to help avoid the man from hitting the back wheel by swerving right. Turning left, might have kicked-out the back of the car. It seems to me that if wanted to hit him, he had a good amount of time to line-up properly prior to being parallel to the man, yet this did not happen.

No way did Tony hit this man on purpose,he would have to be insane to do something so stupid.I'm sure he is devastated by the incident.Prayers for both families.

It was getting dark out and the track was dimly lit. Also, ward was wearing a dark track suit. I believe it was an unfortunate accident.
