Advice on solo travel to Australia?

Hi I'm 20 from Malaysia . Planned for solo travel to Australia will be flying from Singapore changi on next year feb . Will apply for my travel insurance and visa holiday . I need more advice as this is the first time solo travel . What else should I take note before get going ?

    All our States(ie Queensland,New South Wales, Victoria etc), Tourism Australia & major cities you plan to visit have websites for visitors so check out the various places you might visit online and do some research. Also remember, Australia is a very large land mass so if you're planning to visit a few different places take note of the waiting/travelling time involved.

    Have a careful look at what sort of accomodation you would be comfortable in staying in. I am presuming as you wrote this post In English you speak English so that makes travel in Australia easier. It also depends on which city you are flying into. Melbourne has a very specific public transport system called MYKI. Sydney you can catch a train to the city. Adelaide has a public bus that goes to the airport. There are taxis at all airports but Australian taxis are extremely expensive. eg $30au from Sydney international terminal to sydney domestic terminal, about 10 minutes.
