Do you think he likes me?

He will text me everyday, as if he is checking up on me. He usually only saids hello and sometimes will ask me how my day is going. Then at night he usually texts me again to say goodnight, but rarely does he really try to carry on a conversation. We are friends but I dont see him much...he is always busy and has family obligations. He does kiss me sometimes when he sees me. He use to text me more often and he use to stay on the phone with me for longer periods of time too. Im not sure what to think. I am thinking that it is not too good because wouldnt he want to see me and spend time with me if he really liked me? I know I probably shouldnt even be confused over this but I really like this guy a lot and I dont want things to end between us. Please give me suggestions on what I should do. I dont want to ignore him, but should I talk to him and ask him or just go with the flow? Thank you for your help.
