Where does The BIBLE say that Moses body was taken up to Heaven?
In Wednesday night church last week, the teacher made the comment that when Moses and Elijah were with JESUS on the mount, Moses was brought back from the dead to be there.
I do not agree with that, and do vaguely remember hearing about how Moses body was already resurrected, shortly after being buried, but I can not find that in The BIBLE.
Based on the idea that Moses body was already resurrected, he would have been there in his glorified body, not a fallen mortal body.

The fact that Moses shows up on the Mount of Transfiguration and is presumed to re-appear in Revelation 11 leads many people to believe that these appearances are possible due to the outcome of this passage:
Jude 1:9 (KJV)
9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
Also remember, there are many instances of people being brought back from the dead in the Bible (like Lazarus in John 11) that go on to complete their mortal life and die naturally. Therefore, it cannot be conclusive that a resurrected Moses would necessarily have a glorified body. He may not receive that until the final resurrection.

I believe the scripture you are referring to to Matthew 17:1-3. This vision indicated that Jesus Christ would do a work like Moses did, but greater; also the visionary appearance of Elijah showed that he would do a work like that of Elijah, but in a larger way. It was there plainly manifested that the Son of God was indeed the ‘prophet greater than Moses’ and worthy of the title Messiah.
Deuteronomy 34:5,6 speaks of Moses death. He was buried in the land of Moab, Mount Nebo. No one knows exactly where he is buried. Likely, this was to prevent the Israelites from being ensnared into false worship by making a shrine of his grave. Jesus half brother Jude said in Jude 1:9, "Michael the archangel had a dispute with the Devil about what to do with Moses body." Evidently the Devil desired to use Moses’ body for the purpose of worship.
There is no mention in the scriptures of Moses going to heaven. He is asleep in death and awaiting a resurrection.

In the Transfiguration of Christ (celebrated August 6), Jesus met with Moses and Elijah -- one of whom had died, and the other had been taken to heaven in the chariot of fire. This shows (among other things) that God is the God of the living AND the dead -- who are not sleeping, but rather alive.
The end of Moses is recorded this way, in the end of Deuteronomy and the continuation of the story of the Israelites in the book of Joshua:
Deuteronomy 34:5 So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord, 6 and he buried him in the valley in the land of Moab opposite Beth-pe′or; but no man knows the place of his burial to this day.
Joshua 1:1 After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord, the Lord said to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ minister, 2 “Moses my servant is dead..."
The transfiguration account does not say that Moses was resurrected, though. The soul lives on, even without the body. But then, neither does it say that the disciples did *not see Moses in a resurrected body. They saw Moses, but "whether in the body or out of it" (to hijack Paul's statement), it just does not say.
Forgive me.

Deuteronomy 34:5-6 So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD. And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.
It says no one knows where he was buried but obviously he must have been resurrected because of his appearance in Matthew 17:1-3

It doesn't, exactly, nor does it teach that Moses' body was resurrected. I think this might be the passage you are remembering:

Note that with regard to the event of Jesus speaking with Moses and Elijah (called "the transfiguration"), the Bible clearly describes this as a **vision**. That is: apparently, Moses and Elijah were not actually present bodily (otherwise it would be called something other than a "vision").
