Throat infection lasting longer than 5 months?

I have been sick for over 5 months, have seen different doctors and have been to the doctors rooms about 5 or 6 times. I was first told it may be strep throat and was given an antibiotic, the infection did not budge and I returned to the doctor a few weeks after, I was then told it was acid reflux which I was treated for with antacids.

I once again did not get better and was rushed to the emergency room with a temperature of 38.4, a pulse rate of 99 and severe coughing/shortness of breath... I was placed onto oxygen and given an antibiotic in injection form and then told I had tonsilitis, sinusitis and bronchitis all at once and was once again given an antibiotic...

Any way this went on for a while and I returned to the doctor for the 6th time a week ago who thinks the cause is recurring tonsillitis and I have been put on a 10 day course of Betamox.

The picture above was taken of my throat today and my antibiotic ends tomorrow.

I am at the first step once again.

My symptoms are as follows:

- Swollen lymph nodes in neck and groin.

- Lumps in back of throat as seen in pic.

- Severe swelling of tonsils.

- 2 yellow pus nodules or spots on left tonsil as seen in pic.

- Severe weakness, dizziness and fatigue.

- Post nasal drip.

- Headaches and blurred vision.

- Occasional cough, chest/rib pain and shortness of breath.

- Strange outbursts of emotions such as laughing or crying.

- Excessive low blood sugars at night ( very unusual)

I am 18 years old and a type one diabetic.
