Xbox 360 controller is randomly turning off?
Today I was playing Borderlands and my controller would begin turning off. At first it would swivel my character's aim a little bit and then it would shut off. It would only happen when I pressed down on the right trigger to shoot. I tried changing batteries (I use rechargeable Energizer batteries) and the problem persisted. I looked on support.xbox.com and there was nothing related to my issue. Has this happened to anyone else? I can play for a few seconds or minutes before it turns itself off again.

Try some new, regular batteries. It happened to me before with the rechargables. I went and replaced them with disposable AA batteries and it works fine now. Give that a try.
