High blood pressure in teens?
I'm 18 years old, I have been going to doctors since I was little for check ups and also had a high blood pressure and doctors have just over looked it because they thought I was nervous. Every time I go it's in the 140 -150s range. But I admit I get very nervous in doctors offices. I recently went to a heart doctor and it was like 150 something and he just kinda over looked it saying that my body may just run a higher blood pressure than usual because I'm always so active, and I drink a good amount of caffeine etc. is this true? I never get to the point where I feel bad or like I'm going to pass out because of it. Just curious.

Your systolic BP should be below 140 and preferably below 130 and more preferably below 120.
A regular systolic BP above 140 normally requires BP tablets but often you can get your BP down with a low salt diet combined with plenty of exercise.

you should read doctor rogers book on high BP
it's a fresh perspective, and you'll rarely hear a regular doctor tell you what to look out for and why and what you can do
hoping you'll get the book
