What don't people get about this illegal alien crisis?

just about everything. it is a crisis, and it's not good for the nation as a whole.

Of course those who don't / or can't view this as a bad idea, play out the racism card at the first hint of mention of the issue. Thus attempting to end any / all discussion on it.

My friends are nearly exclusively immigrants, from 41 countries at last count, every single one of them is certainly more brown black or yellow than I am, most are not my religion in fact most are not Christian. And I can assure you, that you will not find a more ANTI-ILLEGAL demographic than these folks. They did the right thing the right way, and are now punished for it by long wait times for Green Cards, and such, while there is talk of putting those who broke the law to come here, regardless of reason on par with them. They regard is as the ultimate insult and betrayal to their high minded efforts and conduct.

There are record numbers of whooping cough being reported in this country and no one seems to get why. These people are coming to our country with any kind of infectious diseases and we're helpless to do anything. I get that people want a better life but it shouldn't come at the expense of someone else. What don't people understand about the word "Illegal"? That would be like a legal citizen stealing a car everyday because everyday an illegal is here he's breaking the law.

Why so many otherwise rational Americans imagine it's a "crisis" is what has most folks confused would be MY guess!

What do illegals do? Why do they come here? US corporations HIRE illegals "under the table" at less than half of Federal Minimum Wage to reduce costs (labor is the most expensive "ingredient" for any business) in Agriculture, meat-packing, meat-prep, poultry-packing, hospitality, & transportation so they can give US consumers the low prices they want to pay....if you could "wave a magic wand" and make them all vanish, the only effects that would have on the USA are inflation, and numerous products just "vanishing" from your Supermarket shelves....is that a price you are willing to pay?

In 2012, the State of Georgia passed Draconian anti-illegal immigrant legislation, and (predictably) Georgia's 425,000 or so illegals fled....as a result, Georgia farmers lost MILLIONS & MILLIONS in profits and the State then of course lost several million in tax revenues, which the rest of Georgia's tax-payers had to "make up"....

Well if you listen to the left they are all Valedictorians and refugees. The Reality is they cost us hundreds of billions a year to feed ,house, educate, prisons, courts probation cops investigating their crimes, murders , robberies etc they never mention the cost of.
