It is not Yahoo that is changing the category of your question. Actually, the culprits are Level 7 users who are abusing their privilege of being able to move questions around. Just move the question back using the Edit Category button, and hope that they will get bored and stop.
If this continues (over a period of time or when you ask more questions), you can report this abuse by telling Yahoo that you think that someone is moving your questions to harass you, and they are known to give hefty penalties to those who are found to be abusing the Edit Category feature. Their email address is y_answrs_team@yahoo.com (spelling of answrs is correct)

When you write out your question and submit it their computer picks a category, and gives several other choices if you change it to any of these it doesn't change them but if you pick another category from the full list you have to be very care full it doesn't change back to its choice. This happens if you have to edit it, When you resubmit it you will notice it has switched back to its choice,so at all stages be very care full when you finally submit it,you have changed the category of your choice. Its pretty good but it once put the band Queen in the Royalty category instead of music ! The computer didn't realise what they were so in those circumstances you have to give it a bit of help.

Me as well. I posted 3 questions that are of "mental health" (not serious) and they all got put on business. The Y! sucks at identifying what category to put them in. You can change it if you click on your question, look to where the category is and it should say "edit category".
