Few Questions on my turtles?

1. I was thinking about asking if I put a tennis ball in my tank for my turtles would they play with it or a waste of time ?

2. Is it okay to let my turtles walk around my room under my supervision to relax

3. How long would my baby painter take to grow 4 inches ?

    1. Don't waste your time. They might try to climb the ball but that would be frustration, not play.

    2. Hell, NO! Do you have any idea of the chemicals and bacteria that abound in your carpet?

    3. Growth rate in captivity is too variable to give estimates.

    I would not count on it to say they would play with it but it wouldn't hurt to try.

    Tortoises are slow and easy to manage on "loose leash". So as long as you keep an eye on him 24/7 it should be alright. With my bearded Dragon I put her in a play pen when I think she should roam around but beardies move at a higher pace so you should be fine.

    I have a painted as well. With all animals especially reptiles they grow at a very fast pace. I would need to know when he was born and what size he is to say exactly. But it shouldn't be long as long as your feeding the proper essentials and keep his diet at 75% protein and 25 percent vegetation.
