What is this thing called? It's really cool but I can't find it anywhere online?

I have this old retro-ish pin that my mom gave me. It's hard to explain it, maybe that is why I can't find it online. but it's like looking into an illusion, like a kaleidescope. But kaliedescope pin and illusion pin didn't really come up with results. The pin just has a $3.00 worn sticker on the back and 'made in england'. I love this ring. We had another in green and blue, and it looked like plaid which was lost long ago. do you know if this is a specific item or where I can find more to buy? Or what it is called?
