    No, the Harley will blow a gasket at the thought of being transported in a rice-burner.

    Of course it will work, as far as weight is concerned. Whether the bike will fit across the box, or whether you need to leave the tailgate down is another matter. I imagine it's doable with a ramp and some good tie-downs. The tailgates usually seem pretty tough with steel straps that look like they'd take hundreds of pounds.

    Might not fit in the bed, but the bike only weighs about 650 pounds full up. Your "truck" will handle the weight easily, either in the bed or towing.
