i really want to go to this Under 18 party.. but my mom wont allow me to go. HELP?

so there is this big party coming up, and i reeaalllyyyy want togo oh so badly. its an under 18 party so its like all my age group kinda..

but the thig is.. my mom is really strict, and wont allow me togo, i ask her why and shes just like "no"

all my friends are going and im all clean. i dont drink nor do i smoke.

i have no clue how to get her permission to go to this party. i even asked if i could do something like work around the house or something, but she still wont let me go :(

and iv never been to one of these kind of parties before and im 15 turning 16.

please help? xx

    Well, it seems that the only way you might be able to go is work out a compromise. Maybe you have to be home at a certain time or maybe there will have to be an adult there (I know this sounds uncool but how bad do you want to go?). Also, maybe she is afraid there will be drinking, drugs and smoking at this party. Even if you don't drink or do drugs or smoke, does not mean other people won't. Ask her again and make her give you a reason why you cannot go, then try to work out some sort of compromise with that.

    As a 16 year old girl, I completely understand why your mom doesn't want you to go. I'm half and half on this one. Sure it's in your age group but you never know what might happen at these kind of parties.

    If you don't go don't hate your mom forever.

    And if you do go, watch out for *** holes looking for sugarr and alcohol and drugs.
