How do you lower cholesterol?

I had high cholesterol before and i lowered it by taking fish oil pills, exercising more, and by eating egg whites only or just not eating eggs for a long period of time. Also try eating some oatmeal more frequently.

If you eat eggs eat eggwhites. You would be surprised how much cholesterol is in just one egg (look at the carton)
Also, just look at the cholesterol content of everything you eat and avoid foods that are high in them
Also try to grill or bake things instead of frying them.

You need to avoid eating sugar and grains. You can eat whole eggs as they help raise your good HDL cholesterol.
Don't follow the "low fat" dogma. It is wrong. It's carbs that are causing the problem.
