what's wrong with my belly button piercing?

I got my belly button pierced about 8 months ago. It's still has milky/yellow puss coming out of it at least daily. Creating 'crusties.' I have tried saline solution before and that didn't really help. It becomes iritated when it naturaly shifts around because of the crusties. Idk why its like that or what to do. And if i change it or touch it too much (ik i shouldn't) it starts to hurt.

Firstly. Go and see you GP as you might need a course of antibiotics to help clear up the puss etc.

Secondly. Get some cotton wool. Run some warm to hot water and add a good amount of normal table salt. The salt will disolve in the water. When you can touch the water without burning your fingers get some of the cotton wool and soak it in the water. Place the cotton wool on your belly button and squeeze the water out of the cotton wool. Repeat with clean cotton wall until the crusty bits come loose and can be removed without hurting.

Once all the crusty bits have gone take your belly bar out and clean all of it in the salt water. Replace it and dry carefully.

IMPORTANT:- Do not put any used cotton wall back in the water cos you need to clean the belly bar.

Lastly, Who ever did it for you should of given you cleaning and care information
