Intense wrist pain, doctors or physiotherapists help!?

I recently broke and dislocated my elbow about 10 weeks ago and have been under going intense physio for the past 4 weeks. But over the past week i have been experiencing extreme wrist pain and i dont see my physio again till 3 weeks till now due to her going away and i am struggling to use my hand now. Any advice as to what it is and how i can relieve the pain?

    Hi ? - Welcome to ANSWERS! It might help to know your age AND whether you have had x-rays 10 weeks ago of your wrist as well as your elbow to be sure you did not damage a bone in your wrist as the same time as your elbow injury. During adult years there is also a fairly condition of the wrist that can cause pain such as you describe. That is called carpal tunnel syndrome. (Look it up on "Search Web." It involves the wrist ligament not the bone." Treatment is available. Visit an orthopedic physician or physical medicine physician.
