  • Advice about Blinds!?

I’m wondering if anyone can help me!

I’m looking at purchasing some blinds for my living room bay window but unfortunately it isn’t the strongest, it’s quite weak with not much support. I’ve looked at the perfect fit blinds that slot into my window but unfortunately I can’t find anywhere that does them large enough for the larger part of my bay. It seems like my only other options are roller blinds or metal blinds, but I was wondering which one was heavier/better? Don’t want my bay collapsing on me or not being able to hold them once I screw them in!

  • Has anyone put a blonde box dye over blue hair before? ?

During lockdown I stupidly dyed half my hair blue, I’ve been to the salon twice since and she’s bleached my blue side but it’s still blue, I desperately just want to get back to blonde, has anyone had any success putting a blonde box dye over blue?

  • Why am I sweating and feeling nauseous after a cigarette?

I am a regular smoker and have smoked for 10 years, but yesterday I woke up and had my morning cigarette like I always do, and I had to run back inside and had my head down the loo and sweat was pouring off me for a good 10 minutes. I dismissed it as nothing but then the same thing happened this morning in work, any one have any ideas?

  • Anybody dyed their hair blonde with a box dye from reddy brown?

I've stripped my hair twice but it's still reddish brown, so I was wondering if anyone has ever put a blonde box dye on their hair when their hair was this colour and how did it turn out?? Don't want to be walking around with bright orange hair haha

  • My cat is eating 10x the amount she normally eats, any advice?

She s recently been diagnosed with cancer in her lower jaw and throat and I m just slowly accepting the fact that she hasn t got long. However she seems to be acting perfectly fine. Although, she has been eating an awful lot, she eats a lot anyway, we usually feed her about 8 times a day, and before someone says she ll be overweight, she s not and never has been, it s just her eating routine for the past 15 years. But recently she s been eating about 15ish times a day while losing a bit of weight, I m just curious as if this is a symptom of the cancer? I ve researched it and it says she should have loss of appetite but she s 10x as hungry as normal.

  • My car stereo and date/time central part of my car won't work?

I have a 2003 Vauxhall corsa, the radio is a CDR 2005. When I turn the ignition on in my car no date or time appears, it remains blank, and the radio doesn't come on at all, no matter how hard I press it in. I thought it might be the whole central unit that is broken but the lighter works so my phone still charges and the heaters work. Any idea as to what is wrong with it and how I can fix it without taking it to a garage? I have already spent £650 getting it through the service and MOT so I don't want to spend anymore. My grandad left it me in his will, I've never driven it and I'm due to start driving it on Thursday.

  • How can I help my cat grieve?

One of my cats died yesterday, and it's affecting his sister pretty bad, they were rescued together in a bin bag at the side of a road as kittens, and we took them both in and theyve never been apart for the past 15 years, I just want to help her out as much as possible and make sure she's okay, any suggestions of how to help my cat through the grieving process??

  • Why did my cat suddenly die?

I was just hoping someone would be able to answer this for me, my cat suddenly died this morning, even though he seemed absolutely normal, had the same energy as always. My dad let both of my cats in this morning and fed them both, then let Oscar out again, 10 minutes later he let Ellie out and watched as she ran over to Oscar lay curled up on the grass, she started meowing, prodding him, and eventually licked him and lay curled up next to him with her head rested on him, that s when my dad knew something was wrong, he checked and realised he was gone.

He s only been to the vets a few times in his life, once when he killed a fox and had to have a metal hip put in a few years ago. He was 15 years old but I refuse to just put it down as he died of old age because he never once showed any signs of getting old ever, he was still the little warrior we always knew till this morning.

I know it s unlikely to pin his death on one thing without having a necropsy. But I d just like some possibilities so I can put my mind at rest. And also, as I mentioned before, Ellie is his sister, the same age, and I want to do anything to prevent her having the same fate as her brother because I couldn t bare losing them both.
