Can i drink a bottle of red wine that has been opened since january?

i opened it for pre drinks on my birthday and only drank a glass, and its been a rough day in work and i really need a drink, ive had one glass already and it tastes fine, but my boyfriend has just informed me that it will make me sick. is it okay to drink?

    It should be fine to drink if it was corked or capped. Especially if it was in the refrigerator. Even if it wasn't refrigerated, if it tastes okay and doesn't have anything growing in it, it's perfectly safe to drink.

    If it tastes OK then it is OK. Wine turns to vinegar eventually and you would soon know it that has happened.
