How to unclog ear when the holding nose and blowing method made it worse?

Update:

I tried that method to unclog my ear (just my right--getting over a cold)...but that made it worse. What do I do? :[

    I don't think it's wax--I just got over a cold so it's probably sinus pressure

    Maybe you have a wax build up and need your ears syringed out by your Doctor.
