I do, that does not include supernatural beings and mythological creatures.

Yes I do if, for instance, it's either someone elses property or an animal. However, when it comes to people it depends on first impressions I suppose, i.e. if they were overweight, looked relatively unwashed, and were shooting abuse at other members of the public whilst cradling a beer can, then I probably wouldn't have as much respect for them as I would for someone who had just bought a homeless man dinner, for example.

Respect is earned, not demanded.

I try to be that way because it is the Christian way to be.

Of course, some people show themselves up to be untrustworthy, almost the moment you meet them. That is why we should all be cautious but we should show Godly love at the same time.
