Do you agree with Nethanyahu s estimation on Hamas?

"Hamas was dealt a very serious blow, and there is a military achievement of the highest order here, and well as a diplomatic achievement, because in the end they came and removed all their conditions."

Binyamin Netanyahu

If you judge the war by whether or not Hamas received everything it wanted all at once, well, then I guess Hamas lost by that strange standard. But if you judge it evenly based on who got more of what they were asking for, then there's no denying Hamas won in this regard:

    * Hamas succeeded in opening the crossings and extending fishing boundaries, essentially lifting the blockade. Netanyahu's operation resulted in Hamas holding the bodies of IDF soldiers, which will lead to the freeing of prisoners. Israel has agreed to a deadline of talks regarding a seaport and airport.

    * Netanyahu received no concessions in return. His main demand of demilitarization was rejected on day 1.

Netanyahu's approval ratings have dropped from 82% to 32%, with a majority believing Israel didn't win the war.

    No - it sounds ridiculous.

Not only did Israel lose face but it greatly increased the chances of devastating European trade sanctions directed at Israel.

The experts say that Netanyahu's brutal assault on innocent people is one of Israel's greatest blunders.
