Decimal question easy 10 points?

If the decimal looks like this do I make the second number from the decimal bigger from the 3rd number or last name I get confused at times and if my other decimal looks like this : 0.2846 do I make the seconde number bigger again?

    For the picture yes you make the second decimal place bigger for 0.2846 the answer rounded to three decimal places is 0.285 but rounded to two places it would still be 0.28 because only look at the number directly beside it

    If you are rounding to the hundredths place then on the first one the 5 would round off to 0.32. The second one if you are rounding to the thousandths place it would be 0.285 but if you were still rounding to the hundredth place as in the first one then it would just be 0.28.

    I think that is what you're asking.
