I am an artist: can I make superhero logos without getting the official rights from comic industry.?

For example, can I make something like the Superman logo as shown here?

    Basically, you should save your efforts on any of the trademark protected logos unless you only goal is to display them to show what you can do and that is tricky. Professionally exhibiting them may run you into trouble if you get noticed via publicity.

    It's a licensing thing, so no. Doing a one-of for fandom is one thing, but making them to sell, that puts you into a business category and you have to get licensing for it.
