Why are there no programs to uninstall in Windows RT 8.1?
Surface 1 tablet with Windows RT 8.1. In attempting to uninstall an app, I went to Control Panel, Programs, Uninstall a Program, and found the list totally empty, despite the usual host of apps being loaded on the machine. Rebooted, same result. Where are the apps found in RT 8.1 when you want to uninstall them?

You go to the start screen, move your finger over an app icon and swipe down.
You should then be given an option to uninstall the application.
