Why is my hair getting so oily?
I shower every day, sometimes multiple times a day because of my job. I'm a dental assistant, so by the end of the day, my hair smells like bad breath, sometime I find pieces of tooth or silver filling material in my hair. Not to mention all the aerosols from the hand pieces. So not washing my hair isn't an option. I've used several different shampoos/conditioners and my hair gets oily so fast. Sometimes when I was my hair at night, I wake up and my hair is already oily. How can I stop this from happening?

It's probably just your genetics that cause your hair to produce more oil. Or are you under a lot of stress? Try using a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner like Loreal's EverCreme (that's what i use). These shampoos have no heavy waxes or processed oils, which may help, although they can be a little pricier. Also, dry shampoo can be your best friend when you have oily hair. I love the one by Not your Mother's. Dry shampoo absorbs oil and leaves your hair feeling and looking fresher and cleaner. Spray thing through your roots and at the nape of your neck in the morning if your hair is feeling oily. I would also recommend putting your hair up most of the time so it won't appear oily.
Hope this helps(:
