What do I need to pay when selling my book (from UK) to Australian customers?

Hi

I've written a book and had it printed where I live here in the in UK, I've built a website to distribute it through and been publicising it online.

I've had interest from customers in other countries - what do I need to pay regarding customs and sales tax if I sell the book and post it to customers in Australia?

Do the customers pay the/any sales tax and customs?

May thanks in advance for replies :)

There is no customs duty, sales tax or GST payable on books purchased from overseas for delivery to Australia. GST is payable upon arrival in Australia only if the goods cost at least AUD$1000

Why don't you try reading the (correct) answer I gave two days ago? Really tiresome when people just keep on banging on with the same old question when there's nothing more to add.
