A lot of people dislike affirmative action. How would you have gotten more white men to hire qualified African Americans and Women?

People are very naive and living in a bubble to think a black president means racism is over and everyone is equal. Affirmative action is a double-edged sword. People are ignorant to think that people hired based on affirmative action programs have no kind of standards to meet and are all unqualified. Au contraire. If minorities are still less likely to be called back for interviews than whites having identical resumes with affirmative action in place, without it plenty of employers aren't going to be rushing to have diversity in the workplace.

You're assuming white men wouldn't do that already; there are plenty of white men who would prefer to work with African American (individuals that they like) and women. I would have affirmative action based on income level rather than by physical demographic.

That was the point of affirmative action and I will agree there were innocent causalities of the process. So how would you have done it differently to help people who wouldn't hire women and minorities because of bias against them?

Most people that don't like it believe that it's served it's purpose and has gone from being a much needed piece of a legislation to, ironically, promoting what it was originally meant to prevent.

Deport all whites back to Europe and Australia that were not descended from those who were here prior to the year 1800?

20 yrs military and I can truly say women dont belong there. Women create more problems than they solve. Fact, I was there!

We have a black president. I think we've reached the tipping point so we can stop the program now.
