Pregnancy after leep procedure?
I'm about to soon get a leep procedure. Can anyone tell me how long after I can try to get pregnant? And how long after can my husband and I start having sex? Thanks for any info!

I had that same procedure done after the delivery of my son. Had my first abnormal Pap smear during my pregnancy, and wanted to re-test after delivery. It was still abnormal, and I was diagnosed with mild to moderate cervical dysplasia. My OB and I decided to do a colposcopy, then the LEEP procedure.
Good news is that the vast majority of women who had procedures such as LEEP, go on and have normal and healthy pregnancies. I was told I couldn't resume sex for 6 weeks. But, your case may be different, depending on how little or how much cervical cells are removed. Ask your practitioner when you can begin trying to conceive.

I had one done in 2011. Started with having sex again in 4 to 6 weeks and when we started trying for our second it only took 2 months of trying. I had possible cervical cancer signs but fortunately everything came back negative but better safe than sorry. Good luck :)
