what the heck is the role that anthropologists play in migration?

Im totally confused. Cant seem to find anything online and nothing in textbook. Any examples ? Can somebody give me any clues ? I'm clueless !

    I can understand your confusion., because anthropologists don't play any role in migration. What they can do, is, by studying anthropological evidence, they can track migratory movements of ancient and prehistoric peoples.

    Well, they observe it and write about it. Sometimes a few of them do it, like when one of them graduates from UCLA and gets a job at Harvard.

    That seems like a strange question to me, because anthropologists don't play any role in migration. Migration happens for a lot of reasons, but none of them have anything to do with what anthropologists do. What they do is study the migration patterns and figure out why they happen, but that's after it occurs. See the difference?
