JW-2000 Shotgun coach-gun locking up after shooting.?

Have had this JW-2000 double barrel replica coach gun for about 3 years now and have a minimum of a thousand shells through it including some 3" 00 buck. In the past the barrels would be sticky, but tightening a couple screws attaching it to the stock solved this.

This no longer works, and the screws are tight. Shooting bird shot I have to crack this thing open on my knee, and if I put a stout load through it forget about it. I have to crack it open against a piece of wood.

What can cause this? And yes I know it's basically the cheapest double barrel on the market made in China ;)

IDK V_G for certain, I would look at the breech block and see if those tubes are wiping a shiny spot. With any break open guns I ALWAYS put a little grease on the hinge pin and the receiver cut it rides in. Also put some grease on the ejectors/extractors on the barrels.

If you take the gun barrels off and re-install them ( with grease now of course ) can you wobble the barrels and feel they are loose ? You might also try closing the barrels with a piece of thin paper between the barrels and breech block to see how tight the gun is. Just don't get it so jammed you can not open it. You could be approaching excessive wear, but, IDK for sure. Checking these things will give you some indication.

Always grease that hinge pin,, metal on metal like that "cuts". I have seen guy's guns that were dry and actually found shavings. NOT GOOD.

Added : There is a way, I would suggest a Gunsmith, to tighten that up again. Most likely temporarily though. You can peen the receiver cut area and tighten it up around the hinge pin. BUT that should be done by an "educated" hammer.
