No jobs in UK for Scots after Independence?
If Scotland goes independent, Scots will no longer be EU citizens (EU is very determined about that). So it will be illegal for a Rest-of-UK employer to offer a job to a Scot without first proving that there are no qualified EU citizens. So what can a Scot do? Take a low-level job in Scotland? Emigrate? Become English?

So the only job benefit for Scotland is going to be in their own new government departments? That'll be for the chattering-class educated people... what about the manual workers and shop workers etc?

The same goes for any Company that wants to bid for any EU nation contract.
An independent Scotland would have isolated herself from all those opportunities.
That's something else the Nationalists have glossed over.

I doubt that will be a problem within the common travel area, and as for the EU they are happy to gobble up as many countries as possible never mind a country with all that north sea oil!
