Is this girl in my batch a lesbian? I'm not sure if she is or if she's straight?

-She acts and speaks like a dude

- she hates one direction

- she hates going shopping

- the music she listens to are for guys (and those bands are crap as well)

- she likes basketball over other normal things that girls do

- she always acts manly

Update:

By the way, she's a batch mate of mine in school. We're both 17

Please stop trying to identify LGBT+ people by stereotypical traits. Plenty of straight women have these traits, and not all LGBT+ women do. It's insulting to assume someone is gay because they are masculine. It's none of your business anyway, unless you're wanting to ask her out.

Why do you feel you need to know?

If you want to date her, ask her if she's ever dated girls, and if so, would she date you.

If you don't want to date her, it's none of your business.

Lots of heterosexual people don't like "one direction." And last I heard, while more males tend to like violent noisy rock, there are a fair share of female headbangers, too. And a lot of them are enthusiastically heterosexual in their regard for male musicians.

Lots of hetero women enjoy sports.

Lots of hetero women see shopping as a sucker-trap for gullible females who are brainwashed into thinking that wasting money on nonessentials will make them happy

If you can describe "acting manly," unless you mean to include long-distance pissing contests and 'who can ejaculate the fastest,' you are probably talking about behavior that is called "manly" in men and "bossy" in women.

As a woman who has frequently been told I'm 'too blunt and direct,' I think that has less to do with my orientation than my low tolerance for bullshyt.

I hope the gal in your "batch" (I don't know what you mean by that - is it how your school designates student groups? It's insulting; it makes you sound like baked goods) -- anyway, I hope she IS a lesbian; she sounds like an interesting woman.

But I'd like to know why you care - unless you want to date her, and in that case, you come out first. It's only polite.

    y does it matter??

theres MANY girls straight or gay who like sports n hates shopping as well as hates one direction. .

ur stereotyping her based on **** she does n likes ur not her friend sry..

theres stereotypes on the asian ppl that they r xtremly smart ect..hell my cousin who is korean she is just like everyone else average intelligence. just 2 use a example..

just either stop being her friend since ur wantin 2 judge on her based on dumbass ****. or just except who she is..srsly she could surprise the **** out of u n b completly straight. .

Those things don't really have anything to do with sexual preference. That just makes her a tomboy.
