  • Confessing to my crush that I like her?

I m a huge Disney fan so what I m going to do is to dress as Aladdin and confess to her on an exact replica of the magic carpet used in the movie. I m also going to bring a genie lamp and stuffed toys of Genie and Abu to make things look more magical. What do you think? Is this a good way to confess my feelings for her. I want to treat her like a princess and make this special by taking her on a magic carpet ride to a whole new world. I plan on doing this on my birthday. I don t have any ill intentions. I just wanna make her feel special

  • Why do people call me a "snake"? Do my actions below make me a snake even if I did them to protect my friends while benefitting myself?

Okay I'll admit that I am a master planner and I have a knack for taking advantage cause I look like a stereotypical good boy. I've broken up 3 couples because 1) I wanted the girl for myself 2) It was for the good of the girl (who happens to be a good friend of mine who I have feelings for)

    1. I broke up my grade school crush and her bf of 3 yrs. It was fairly easy. She was easy to convince. I simply "recommended" to her that she break up with him and it happened instantly. I ended up going out with her for a while. However, I could also sense that they were both not happy anymore. I merely took advantage of the situation because I viewed the outcome as everyone being better off, myself included of course

    2) I broke up my high school crush because her bf was a dick. Plain and simple. Even easier to manipulate than the first one. Although I took a different approach by using emotion as a tool to get them to break up.

    3) I broke up my crush in 1st yr college with her boyfriend of 6 months for the same reason as number 2. He was a dick (in my point of view). This time I used logic to get what I wanted. I always talked to my crush and used reasoning to make her see what a jerk the guy was. True enough, they ended breaking up.

I have no qualms about playing dirty to get what I want as long as it doesn't violate my moral code. I can say I did the right thing because it wasn't working out for my crushes who also happen to be close friends of mine. Am I a snake because of this?

  • What's wrong with wearing a hat indoors?

So I was at the mall on a date with my crush and while we were walking, some lady tells me to take my hat off. She didn't say it in a very nice way and it sounded more like a command rather than a polite request. She just said "hey kid take that hat off". I just put the brim of my hat really low and walked away with my crush. Anyway I don't get it. What's the deal? My hat isn't some cheap, trashy hat. It's a brown, wool, fedora hat and its damn expensive. As a matter of fact, it's an official replica of Indiana Jones's iconic hat and it even has

an Indiana Jones pin on it. I know proper hat etiquette. I remove my hat in church or in the movie house. But in the mall? I don't think I'm hurting anyone by wearing my Indiana jones hat. What do you think? Is there anything wrong?

  • Should One Direction be approached to sing the official song for the next fifty shades of grey movie?

I think they should. Fifty Shades of grey has always wanted to reach out to a wider audience. 1D is a group that reaches out to everyone. They have 4 #1 albums and they're the biggest band in the world. Theyre also currently on top of the box office for music tours in 2015. This shows that everyone buys their music and they don't have haters. Aside from this, their songs seem to fit the theme of the movie. I think the director should approach the group to sing for the next movie. What do you guys think?

  • How do you find a new source of happiness in life?

This is a serious question. I need to find happiness again. For the past 3 years, the thing that s made me happy has been One Direction. Yes. I am a fan of One Direction. Nothing makes me happier than seeing them be popular and talked about all over. Now it s all changed. The band is on a downward spiral. There s no point in pretending that they re still the most talked about thing right now cuz they re not. I can see their stadium tour flopping this year and that will be the end. I think it s time to move on until Harry Styles inevitably becomes

a successful solo artist. So how can I find a new purpose in life to look forward to? I used to look forward to see One Direction have success but that s not the case anymore. What can I do to make life something to look forward to? I don t want to be on 9gag 24/7 and just wasting my time. I want to look forward to something. What can I Do?

  • In today's music industry, is having a massive fanbase more important than having hit songs and good chart positions in billboard?

Before billboard used to control music since chart positions mattered so much. Now it's fans who control the music industry. artists like one direction don't have much hit singles but their massive fanbase ensures the band that they're right at the top of the food chain. Their massive fanbase keeps the money flowing in for 1D. Meanwhile, artists with no fanbase but with hit singles tend to fade away after some time. An example is John legend. All of me was a big hit but he's disappeared ever since. Same goes for Magic! with rude. It was a hit song but them not having a fanbase means that they've faded out of the spotlight for now. all this time one direction hasn't had a smash hit yet they continue to be the biggest thing in music with a number 1 album and sold out stadium tour next year. This definitely proves billboard and other music charts don't hold the fate of artists in their hands. Billboard isn't relevant anymore since they arent in control. The ones who are in control now are fans. They're the ones who keep the money coming in and they're the ones who make the artist they support stay relevant despite not producing hit songs.

  • Will One Direction's next album have more sales and hit singles than "Four"?

One Direction have confirmed that a fifth album is in the works. Four still had good sales but it had lower sales than Midnight Memories. Aside from this, Steal My Girl and Night Changes aren't really hit singles. The boys said that they would "take some more time" with the fifth album. The reason for this is because 1D keep releasing new music and people can get tired. So them taking more time to work on this album is a certain recipe for success. They'd be gone for a while then come out of nowhere with another album. Aside from this, there won't be any major competition for them when they release their album. Justin Bieber's new album would've been out for ages already and Taylor Swift won't be making a new one just yet. So 1D's fifth album could make history by being their biggest album and break the boyband curse of fading away after a few years. Thoughts?

  • 1D fans, I have an important question?

What's happened with the band? I'm a fan too and it's really disappointing to see their singles flop on billboard and YouTube. Steal My Girl and Night Changes didn't even crack the top 10 in the billboard charts. Aside from that, Four hasn't done as well worldwide. It reached number 1 in less countries than mm and tmh and it also sold much less copies. I don't get it. This fandom can beat Beyonce in the AMAs, beat everyone else in MTV Stars, and slay every award show yet we can't even make the singles hits on the charts and have a lot of YouTube views? Look at this, 1D have nearly 15m subscribers on YouTube yet smg has less views than blank space and it was released earlier. Speaking of Taylor swift, she doesn't even have as much subscribers as 1D yet how come she can make her music success

ful. Ok. So what's wrong? Is it the fandom becoming smaller? To be honest this isn't the case as we slay award shows and we beat beyonce. The reason I think we're having tough times as a fandom is because of the boy band curse. Boy bands don't last long. Is this the end of the road for 1D? I hope not. As fans, what can we do to bring back the glory days in 2013 where everything slayed? And do you think the band should go down the Miley Cyrus route for the sake of attention? I think it's time the boys stopped trying to please the fandom with everything. They should make controversial videos if they want to and just keep in mind that we've got their backs no matter what.

  • One Direction fans, do you think that One Direction is starting to fade a bit? Is this the beginning of the end?

Look, I'm a huge One Direction fan and nothing makes me happier than seeing the boys have hit songs, a lot of album sales, and a lot of YouTube views. I've noticed that they haven't really had a smash hit since Story Of My Life. That song was massive, had a lot of YouTube views, and did well on the charts. Now, Steal My Girl and Night Changes haven't come close to the success of Best Song Ever, Live While We're Young, and Story Of My Life. Less YouTube views and lower chart positions point to that. Aside from this, Four hasn't sold as well as Midnight Memories. What's wrong? Has the quality of the songs decreased? I don't think so. Steal My Girl and Night Changes are pretty good songs. Has the fandom become smaller and lazier? I don't think so either. We just BEYONCE in the AMAs and we've seen how big our fandom really is judging by the sales from the WWA tour and OTRA tour. So can any Directioner help me understand why this is happening? Is this a mere "bad day in the office" or is it something more serious like the end of the road for 1D? Look, I want the boys to go on and make great music for decades to come. I want them to still be selling out arenas and stadiums while having hit albums and singles years from now. Is it time for a wake up call? What should the fandom and the boys do so we can go back to

the glory days of 1D when we took over the world? Thoughts?

  • Should winners of music awards like the Grammys be voted online or through social media rather than by a panel of judges?

For me, I think these music awards should should be voted by the people through social media. A panel of judges does not represent the opinion of society as a whole. Aside from this, you need to have fans behind you to back up your credibility as an artist. In order for you to pick up a Grammy for a certain category, I think it s only fair that the people get to decide your fate since they re the ones listening to your music after all. Through online voting or voting through social media, we can really see which artist/group really deserves the award as they were chosen by the people to win. Keeping this in mind, groups like One Direction would undoubtedly sweep the Grammys as the band have a massive fanbase that s been renowned for winning awards through voting online or on social media. While it may seem a bit strange at first, I think it s only fair that the people be the ones to decide who deserves to pick up a Grammy

  • Is Kim Kardashian an overrated celebrity?

She thinks she's "the celebrity" everyone's talking about. But the truth is she's not. Heck even One Direction get more media attention than her. More people care about 1D than her. They have a massive, worldwide fan base. 1D have Directioners while Kim Karsashian doesn't have any "fans". So I think she's overrated since no one cares about her and she pales in comparison with the media attention One Direction receives

  • Are one direction today's version of the beatles?

One direction are not the new beatles and everyone including the 1D members know that. But are 1D today's version of the beatles? Being both a fan of the beatles and 1D, I have to say the level of fame for 1D today is much bigger than that of the beatles back in the 60s. Musically, the beatles will always be at a different class than 1D. But in terms of fame, I honestly think 1D tops beatlemania. I've never seen such craze about a band like this before. So I honestly think these 5 lads are the beatles of our generation with all that they've accomplished and with all the fan activity.

  • Is this girl in my batch a lesbian? I'm not sure if she is or if she's straight?

-She acts and speaks like a dude

    - she hates one direction

    - she hates going shopping

    - the music she listens to are for guys (and those bands are crap as well)

    - she likes basketball over other normal things that girls do

    - she always acts manly

  • How do I become friends with a girl who's out of my league?

People tell me to be myself and not lie about who I am around girls since girls don't like guys who aren't true. But Im a 17 yr old guy who's a huge fan of One Direction and I wear earrings (By the way I'm 100% straight). There's this girl who I think is way out of my league and she's my age. I wanna get to know her and my friend is planning a hang out with a few girls and she'll be there. How do I talk to her and make a good conversation? I have nothing in common with her I'm sure she doesn't like one direction. Most directioners are young girls. Most 1D fans are below 15. She's 17. Second, I wear earrings cause I like Zayn Malik's style. She could get turned off by that and think im gay (which I'm definitely not). How do I talk to a girl who's out of my league without having to hide who I am as a person?

  • Is it unfair to compare One Direction to other good bands in the past due to their lack of competition in today's market?

It's a fact that 1D have zero competition in music today. They're unstoppable and they've taken over the market and lots of radio stations. Even big names in the music industry like Miley Cyrus, Jay Z, Kanye West and Justin Bieber are definitely less hyped and less talked about than 1D. Miley and Justin arena tours while One Direction are playing in the biggest stadiums worldwide on their where we are tour while racking up over 35 million record sales worldwide and 3 consecutive platinum albums which all went #1. Even A-listers like miley and JB are light years behind 1D in today's market. Is this an indication of lack of competition? I think so. Comparing 1D to former bands like The Beatles and the backstreet boys is an unfair comparison since these 2 bands had much tougher competition than 1D back in their day. The Beatles had stiff competition from another legendary band, The Rolling Stones while BSB also had some tough completion from. Justin Timberlake and NSYNC. Therefore, it isn't fair to compare 1D with these bands due to the obvious lack of competition.
