Glitches in Y!A are very common. Frequent refreshing often helps. Going back and forth often helps as well to jump start the system when it jams up.
The new purple format has far more glitches than the old green format that was much easier to navigate.
If you want to report glitches, bugs or errors in the system you can report them in https://yahoo.uservoice.com/forums/211240-us-answe...

... because Yahoo glitches for some and not for others is the easy answer.
The problems you may be facing may be different ones from the ones I get at any one time and therefore questions (so long as they actually appear on the frontpage or category indexes) will get answers from others if you can't.
Unfortunately this is nothing new. Yahoo has always had more than it's fair share of bugs and it's almost like part of the experience now - how to navigate around the bugs to do what you want.
F5 tends to be a good friend (refreshes page) along with Ctrl C and Ctrl V (copy and paste if you are composing a long answer you can't afford to lose)
If all else fails then post a thread here https://yahoo.uservoice.com/forums/211240 to bring it to the attention of staff as a bug.
