What style of sword is this?

This is one of those uber cheap wall hanging swords, but I am curious what kind of real world sword it is based on as it's kind of unusual.

It has a leaf blade 26 inches long, with a grip that is 5 1/4 inches long not including the pommel. The grip is round, but the shape of the hand guard falls into the hand so you know how the blade is positioned. You can hold it one or two handed, but it seems strange on such a short blade.

I have looked for a sword of similar proportions that's not a wall hanging cheep-o like this one, but anything I've found has a one handed grip for a sword this short. Is this just a unique one off from Coyote Cutlery?

http://steelhaven.tripod.com/Devil-Wing_Sword_$55.... - Here is a newer straight bladed version in silver rather then gold color. I kind of like the leaf blade shape better though.

Update:

And yes, it's the kind of sword that under the grip is just a thin metal bar that has threads on the back for the pommel to screw on. My Father when I was 13ish bought me this used at a yard sale for $20.00. 17 years later I'm curious what he bought me LOL.

    Ahhhh, sorry dude.

    It's not based on anything anywhere in the history of the world and 3 galaxies.

    It is pure fantasy.

    But hey, your Dad was kinda cool, huh?

    Bought you that at 13?

    I would have strapped that thing on and turn into Xena! LOL

    [The bat wings are cool.]

    If you want a real sword, they are available.

    The ones below are all full tang and can take a blade.

    My I recommend;

    This is a purely fantasy sword, with no good real world comparative examples. The leaf shape of the blade bears some resemblance to a greek hoplite sword, while the handle looks somewhat like an ancient Celtic sword or perhaps a later ceremonial European grip. The cross-guard is entirely fictional and has no combat counterparts to my knowledge.

    It is indeed strange for a short sword my only guess would be that it was custom made for someone.... But I wouldn't be able to tell without seeing it in person, sorry I couldn't be of much help.

    It is a Produkt of phantasy, based on a Celtic bronze-sword
