Not getting toned with insanity?
This is my second real attempt at insanity. The first time I was about 20 pounds lighter and was doing the exercises daily, but eating whatever I wanted and I really saw myself getting toned.
This time, i'm 20 pounds heavier (since life got in the way) and i'm trying to eat healthy meals for all my meals and haven't seen much a change inches wise.
Is there some reason for this? I'm eating about 1400- 1500 calories a day, I have one cheat food of chips, but I try to only eat some chips, not the whole bag or anything.
I keep track of my food and I try to eat at least 20 - 30% protein, the rest between carbs and fat, but sometimes the fat seems high since avocado is fatty.

Your calorie count is a bit high and your protein count correspondingly low. You really need to get at least 1 gm of protein per pound of body weight. Complex carbs are better than simple carbs and are more nutritionally beneficial.
