Why are there so many double yolk eggs lately?
In the past 2 months, I have bought 3 dozen eggs from stores and each dozen has had 1 or 2 double yolk eggs in them. This has been rare, why are there so many all of a sudden?

However they read the eggs is faulty & NOBODY has noticed!!! Eggs used to be candles by humans & there was a chance of human error. My guess is that they use a machine to check the eggs & the settings got off & NOBODY has caught he error in order to reset it!!! My great grammy used to get double yolk eggs ALL the time but she didn't candle her eggs!!! Maybe it has something to do with ALL the hormones & antibiotics that they are feeding the hens now days...OR...there's a run on twins!!!
