Yahoo submission is confusing me... sorry, but you can see my more detailed explanation below.
I don't really understand 'bluetooth' starry, lol. I heard of it but IDK what it really is.
I don't care about cell phones... he likes to listen to music on his dad's Ipod and tablet, or play games on my computer... he uses those little ear buds with wires but they are always breaking. He mentioned wanting wireless headphones. So I'm looking for something for PC & Ipod use.

If you want to use them with devices like a phone (not sure about tablets) then you will want to go with something that transmits over Bluetooth (like a wireless phone headset). Years ago, I owned a pair of wireless headphones that transmitted over Infra Red and they were poor quality and performance. I will never buy wireless headphones again.
But I would suggest going to a retail store and asking them for help. I'm sure lots of people buy wireless headphones for ipods and tablets so they should have something that would work. It sounds like a great gift idea.

I'm looking for a gift on Amazon and have no idea about this stuff.
I want to buy my teen wireless headphones that he can use mainly with a PC, Ipod -- he's getting the new Ipod for Xmas so I want to make sure it's compatible.
We have a samsung tablet and a kindle fire he likes to borrow so extra points if he can use it with all of these things.
I'm hoping to get it for under $100 but am willing to consider any good quality options.
Must be WIRELESS and compatible with the Ipod & PC mainly.
