Does anyone know/can provide me with a link to the Indian culture in relation to the healthcare system?
My main question is why/if culture plays a role in why Indians don't want to take pain medication while hospitalized. Is this related to culture or was this just a one time experience?

I assume your referring to the American indian the tribe I know don't like to take medication or stay in hospitals my grandfather pick one old boy up walking back to the reservation who just had an operation and just got out of bed starting walking home within a few hours of his operation
