Nuvaring and pregnancy?
So i was prescribed Nuvaring back in November 2015 and the doctor said rather than removing it after 3 weeks & having a period, I can just use it continuously and take it out & replace it the same day/time each month (for me, the 10th). So, that would mean replacing it every 30 days. But upon research, I found that you should be replacing it every 28 days. So, i'm now worried i might be pregnant. It's February and I just missed my first period and I had unprotected sex. I'm worried that replacing the ring every 30 days rather than 28 messed me up. Should I be worried? Is the ring still effective when I replace it at 30 days instead of 28?

I understand the ending part, but it's just the cell division part (meiosis??) that i don't understand. Like, for the dizygotic, why do the 2 eggs have the blue shading at the top versus the monozygotic that have the blue parts on the sides?
Thanks!
3 AnswersBiology7 years agoDoes anyone know/can provide me with a link to the Indian culture in relation to the healthcare system?
My main question is why/if culture plays a role in why Indians don't want to take pain medication while hospitalized. Is this related to culture or was this just a one time experience?
1 AnswerGovernment7 years agoIf there is an insufficient amount of stamps on an envelope, how long does it take for it to be returned to the sender?
I'm just wondering because i stuffed one of those long white envelopes (9x4 i think) with about 6 sheets of paper & it wasn't bulky at all so i only put one stamp on it, however, after a week, it still hasn't arrived at the desired destination & i still haven't received it back yet...so,
did i get enough stamps on there? is it coming back to me at all? is it going to arrive at my destination?

I already have full time hours, it'd be extra if i did, so i'm not obligated to go in right?

1 AnswerMedicine7 years agoImplanon? Is it effective?
How effective is implanon? I've read that it's 99% effective when preventing pregnancy, blah blah. But i want to hear from some people who've actually used it. How effective is it when it comes to unprotected sex?
Also has anyone experienced the side effects? Like weight gain, weird menstrual cycle changes, etc.?
1 AnswerPregnancy7 years agoIUD question?
I'm 20 & i was looking into getting an IUD because that seems to be the safest form of birth control (i was previously on the pill). However, i looked on the planned parenthood site & they say that you need a pelvic exam, STI screening, & a pap smear BEFORE they can do the IUD. Has anyone else had to go through this process? If so, how long will the whole process take? Obviously i'll have to wait my turn & such, but besides that, how long is the actual process?
& how much the cost will be covered by my insurance? the site says its like $500-1k for the IUD.
Also, here's some additional info. if it helps; I live in Massachusetts, i'm a college student, no kids, i have a job, & have BMCHealthnet insurance, which i guess is a type of masshealth standard.
Thanks! :)
