Each has its purpose.. a fast 0-60 car may not beat a faster 1/4 car.. and same with 0-100.. they will correlate accordingly yeah but in each of those times 1/10 of a second matters. considering car may mean for street use primarily I would like to see a faster 0-60 time. few street races are as long or longer than a 1/4 mile. a fast street car is doing a 1/4 mile in sub 12's a real fast car is doing below 11's.. hitting 130-140 plus MPH.

Hi Douglas
you know that the faster it goes from 0-60mph in a few seconds makes it more likely to be be a potential weapon in the wrong hands. the quotes for a standing 1/4 mile also have a similar reference.
so what makes one so fast not the car but the NUT behind the steering wheel.

0-60 is called quick while the 1/4 mi is called fast, so 0-60 of under 6 is quick and under 4 sec is super car quick and the 1.4 mi in under 12 sec is fast, but around 10 sec is really fast.
