If there is no God, why did Derek Jeter just win the game on his last at bat at Yankee Stadium?

The obvious answer was the game was fixed. Stay tuned for the Yankees last game this year I think in Fenway Park on Sunday Sep 28, when Jeter bats, a Red Sox pitcher will lob the ball into him so that he can go out with a home run! If he does it his first at bat, he will be taken out of the game, if not, he will try that lob ball his second at bat, and his third at bat if necessary, by now he should have put the ball out of the park, if not he will literally have a home run in his last at bat his 4th time up, same thing, lob it in to him and let him go out with a home run, AND HE WILL! The only bad thing about that is that while you are watching your favorite NFL team, they will interrupt your football game to tell you. Remember you heard it from larry first right here on this site. And you can take that to the bank..........I mean bet on it, 100 bucks or whatever.

Boston fan here. It was a beautiful ending for a first ballot HOF er. The true professional earned it and deserved it. Yankees still suck though.

Incredible ending, you couldn't script that any better then that where it got tied in the 9th and brought him to the plate one more time to win it.

God has more important things to worry about than baseball.

  • Because he's a talented player, and sometimes things go that way, maybe?
