I am looking to go into school for web design. What would be the best school to go to a trade school or university?

Hmm...problem w/universities is they teach a broader amount of stuff...lots of it absolute junk you'll never use, that's great if you're not completely sure which direction you want to go or if your profession will employ numerous subjects. Trade schools on the other hand can get directly to what you want & you're more likely to learn "cutting-edge" stuff that actually APPLIES to what you're doing & up-&-coming new things helping you go further (in that ONE profession) while university students are wondering what xyz-89c has to do with changing oil (for example). I'm in university for Psychology, very broad...however, had I wanted to be a mechanic or something I DEF would have done trade school. All that matters is what's right for YOU & your career path, just BE CAREFUL if you go trade esp...do your research to avoid what Divided considers "all scams"....there are plenty of scams in every form of business today, incl university so just don't be stupid & you'll be fine.

University, don't go to a For-Profit school, they're all scams and will leave you in debt and a degree that means nothing.
