Is it time to contact the labor board for not getting paid?
A friend got a job at a temp agency, started the same day they went in to apply. Two weeks later (Friday) he didn't get paid. They said they forgot his check at the corporate office and it would be there Monday. Monday they say it'll be there Tuesday, his check was never printed. Now today they say there was an issue with his social and he has to submit a new application. Should he just go to the labor board? They keep changing their story. You would think he would be contacted or not allowed to work if his social wasn't valid.

Threaten to sue. A temp agency did this to my boyfriend more than once. The company that went through the temp agency got sick of the temp agency screwing people's checks up. So now the factory won't use that temp agency anymore. Temp agencies suck anyways. Good luck!
