Is England safe at the moment?

We are currently in America but are soon going back to England. I was just worried about this whole ISIS thing that is going on and if England is actually a safe place to live at the moment?

London is as safe as any other Western city. There is a massive roundup already taking place here right across the UK of potential and known trouble makers. Take it from me the British, once in action, are absolutely ruthless when it comes to putting behind bars those whom they deem to be a threat to public safety.

Also Parliament will soon enact new laws which will put an end to hate preachers for once and for all and any such who preach hate against the Western World, anti-democratic rants and etc. will simply be arrested and they will not see the light of day for a very long time.

Radical Islam is being torn to shreds here in UK and this is because we do not want a sectarian fight on our hands.

England especially is a country ruled by Leveller thinking and when it comes to religion and we believe the people have the right to worship any God or none that they choose. If Muslims cannot accept our way of life then they must face the consequences of their rants and actions.

You have nothing to fear - take my word on it - we British know how to deal with troublemakers. We've done it to the IRA and had 30 years of their terrorism. Now they are silent and they know and so do all terrorists that UK is not somewhere for them. Unless they want 'dead'.

This is what we are really like.

We are an entirely democratic and freedom loving people and we will not give up one inch of what we have fought and died for, neither will the Americans. Worry not, you'll be with people who think and act just like you do.

    Welcome Home to England

It's absolutely fine here. The government may be worried about British ISIS fighters returning to the country, but I an very confident in the anti terrorist police. There has hardly been an attack on the UK mainland since the IRA ceasefire 20 years ago.

The only thing you need to be worried about in London crime wise is pickpocketing. Make sure your valuables are out of sight and in a zipped up bag. Don't wander around dark alleys at night, don't get too drunk and make sure you know how to get back to your hotel. If you worried about what "might" happen all the time, no one would leave their houses. You are more likely to be injured putting on your socks than you are to be in a terrorist attack.

Of couse it's safe. Only 3% of the Uk population is muslim. Of that 3% only a few loonies are ISIS sympathisers, just like in USA.

England is a lot safer than the USA - we don't have millions of people carrying guns all of the time.

ISIS is currently based in Iraq, Iraq is about 2,500 miles from the UK, not currently a threat, no more than any other Western city and considerably safer than most American cities.

I live in London and I'm not worried at all. It's all happening a LONG way away.

London is MUCH safer than any city in the USA.

The murder rate in England is less than a quarter of that in the US. See, we have gun control...
