POEM IDEAS?
i never get freedom my parents are strict with me like i cant do what others do they think im going become a whore or do bad stuff i wanted poem i deas im 16

I agree with Thomas7. Although I also know that sometimes the spark to write is there but the ideas are not flowing. I combat this idea drought in a 3 ways:
1.) keep an idea journal. I write snippets of ideas and thoughts and keep it handy. I write in it when a thought I like comes to mind and refer to it latet.
2.) I write the word "Free" on top of a piece of paper and just write. After a set amount of time I read my prose and see what stands out--what I can use.
3.) I look for prompts if necessary.
p.s--write about an experience/what you know. when I was in h.s I wrote a lot of poems about a few of the crushes I had. LOL!
If this doesnt help, feel free to let me know. Im sure I know of a few prompts. In the meantime have fun developing your writing. Don't stress over it being perfect. Just Write, my friend! :D
