god exists the moment you believe it exists?

Question

I've had this thought that I thought could be intriguing which is that it's our beliefs that bring about the existence of god(as in god is essentially our belief in its existence)...whatever that may mean, i'm not sure, but it made alot of sense to me at the time i had the thought, and i'd just like to get your opinion on it.

But, if you say that God caused the universe to exist, it wouldn't make any sense....it would be saying a thing created by God, caused God to exist.
