Will my Fancy Goldfish and pleco survive the cycling process?
Its a 55g and stock includes 2 Fancy Goldfish(~3in). And 1 Goby Pleco(~3.5"). I used a cyling aid, have 4 big airstones for oxygen, and keep the water ~72F. I have an AQUACLEAR 70 that runs 300g/hr. Will they survive? Don't know if they are hardy fish.

Test your water morning and night. Don't let it get over 1ppm of ammonia or nitrite ever.
With those fish, you'll eventually want more filtration. 10xtank volume/hr is ideal. If I remember correctly, the Aquaclears produce very little surface action, which is what oxygenates the water. The air stones do hardly anything to oxygenate and should not be relied on to provide the oxygen you need. Goldfish consume a ton and the pleco is not too far behind. I would throw a powerhead in at the surface.
I will caution you on your species. The fancies should only be with other similar fancies. Any sucking fish will suck the slime coat off the goldfish eventually. This leads to massive infection and is often fatal.

They are very hardy, but I suggest doing a fishless cycle. No fish should go through the hardships of a cycle, it burns their gills and they can literally drown. Fishless cycling is faster and a lot easier. Look at this website for details. www.aquariumadvice.com/.../the-almost-...

Big tank, 3 smallish fish, yes they should make it. Extra water changes will help if you do get an ammonia buildup.
