do i need a diaper pale?

A basic diaper pail IS just a small trash can with a lid, only an inconvenient size and shape for trash bags.

After my official diaper pail just got impossible to get the smell out, even though I used individual baggies for dirty diapers, I just threw the thing away and bought two (my second was on the way by then) basic pedal bins I could line with a regular trash bag. Works better than a basic diaper pail, and is far cheaper than a fancy diaper system.

Either one will work. So long as you empty every day and use it purely for diapers theres no issue. Empty and sanitize everyday either way with a diaper pail or trashcan. A diaper pail is just a glorified trashcan anyways. Good luck!

Use a regular trash can & recycle your plastic grocery bags. Tie the poop diapers up tight in a grocery bag to cut down on the smell. Saves a ton of money. Refill kits for those diaper Genies add up and after a couple months we stopped using it all together.

Just use a small trashcan. The other products such as diaper genie are a waste of money. They are the same thing just more expensive and way too complicated.

Just get a trashcan with a lid. It's what I did.
