Developer and Hair Dye Question?
So I normally use L'oreal Hi-Color Highlights in red to color my hair because my hair is naturally black. I'm currently out and I don't know when the next time I can go buy some is, but I do have Manic Panic in Pillarbox Red, I think it is. I know that mixing developer with the L'oreal will lighten my hair on contact, but will it do the same for Manic Panic?

NO. Manic Panic, Splat, and other Direct Dye colors do NOT work WITH Peroxide or Developer. You Need to Pre-Bleach for these colors to give their full brightness and value. Adding developer to these products will only dilute the shade and may change the color.
